Places to Visit & Activities

Situated in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park the area offers a wealth of places to visit and activites to do.

Abergavenny (The Gateway to Wales) is a thriving Market Town and both livestock and retail markets are held every week.

Also located in the town of Abergavenny is the 'Abergavenny Castle and Museum' and there are a number of other fortifications to be explored in the nearby area - Raglan Castle , White Castle, Grosmont Castle, Skenfrith Castle to name but a few !

Monmouthshire is very well known for it's excellent restaurants and Local Inns - The Crown at Pantygelli is only 5 minutes walk away and also within a few miles can be found 'The Hardwick ', 'The Walnut Tree Inn' ,and 'The Foxhunter at Nantyderry'.

Mountain walks in the area for all levels of ability abound and they include The Skirrid (The Holy Mountain) which can be seen from 'Dan Y Berllan', The Sugar Loaf and The Bryn Arrow. All of these walks can be accessed from the farm (depending on how active you feel !)
